I believe you as, an independent business owner must absolutely always beat the pants off of the giantss in your industry when it comes to customer service or both you and I will be out-of-business... and the sad fact is, I’m appalled at
the low level of customer service that I get from independents.  It often is no better than that of the giants. 

And it has nothing to do with not wanting to giving great customer service.  It often is just a matter of having so many other things to do that managers and owners simply don’t have the time they need to consistently and persistently reinforce Make-You -Happy Customer Service.
